More than 20 years of experience in aromatherapy, I’ve seen the profound benefits that essential oils and scents can bring. While my work has centered on personal treatments, I believe the potential of aromatherapy extends far beyond—it's something I hope more people can experience in their own lives.
To make aromatherapy accessible and enjoyable for all, I host workshops and provide "Perfume Bars" at events for a unique and interactive experience.
For businesses, I offer tailored scent marketing solutions such as commercial diffuser, helping companies harness the power of fragrance to enhance their brand presence in ways that align with their industry.

ABOUT ME
Maru
My journey into natural therapies began in my early teens, inspired by my mother’s health struggles. While I value Western medicine, I discovered the importance of having a source of emotional support, which led me to explore natural therapies. In 1999, I moved to Australia to study aromatherapy, becoming an IFA (International Federation of Aromatherapists) certified aromatherapist in 2002. My career took off working at a leading organic day spa in Australia, followed by extensive experience across day spas, luxury hotel spas, and even medical settings in Australia, Japan, and Hawaii.
In 2008, I launched my own aromatherapy and Lomi Lomi salon in Waikiki, where I spent 11 years as owner and therapist. During this time, I trained being a therapists, also hosted aromatherapy workshops, and cultivated a welcoming and healing space for clients. Since 2020, I've expanded my focus to bring the true benefits of aromatherapy to a broader audience through "scent marketing" initiatives, alongside offering specialized Hawaii-based courses.
My goal is to empower individuals to discover what they truly need by connecting with themselves. Through treatments and fragrance creations, I aim to present "scent" and "essential oils" as options for healing and self-discovery. For creating the scent, I am specializing "Scents of Hawaii".
